ICS Announces Kronova eScheduler 4.35

Paramus, NJ - April 1, 2003 - Indus Consultancy Services (ICS) today announced the release of Version 4.35 of Kronova eScheduler, a full-featured J2EE job scheduling system that diverse companies around the world from health care managers to energy providers have come to rely on for the scheduling of batch and event-driven jobs within their enterprise. Previously known as Kronos Enterprise Scheduler, Kronova 4.35 provides a number of enhancements including:
  • File-triggered jobs now accept *.* as a wildcard specification.
  • File-triggered jobs can now be notified once per file change, or once per polling interval regardless of the number of file changes. This allows for a single job execution to process multiple files in batch more efficiently.
  • A concurrency parameter can now be specified for each job. This parameter controls how many executions of that job can be running at the same time; if a user or the system attempts to start additional executions after the concurrency limit is reached, they will be queued until one or more of the running executions complete.
